- WBO Asia Pacific's explanation regarding 25 year-old Ahmed Elomar's eligibility to contest Youth title:"With limited fighters and contenders at age of 23, we at times have exceptions to approve up to age limit of 25, with credible record standing of course. If in the event Mr. Elomar is victorious, we will allow him to reign and defend Youth championship for a 12-month period, before the title is declared vacant."
