• Gullatt was scheduled to fight Muhammad Ali February 7th, 1961 but failed to appear for the bout. He claims Chris Dundee, Angelo's brother, offered Ali $800 and Gullatt $300. Instead of appearing for the fight, Gullatt claims he got drunk. Ali fought Jimmy Robinson as a late replacement.[1]
