The last Taylor fight had a great atmosphere. Collins v McGregor on the undercard got a massive reception on the night also. I was hoping this one captured the public attention a little more than it did

Havent posted in here for a long time.
Was at the show tonight, some decent fights but lots of empty seats and a poor atmosphere. I was up in the bleachers. Maybe it felt a bit lively down ringside but a disappointing atmosphere for a decent card.

Looks terrible, but clearly isnt

This is the first person that springs to mind for me also. Everyone who has trained with or around him seem to speak very highly of him also.

Has anyone seen anything about ticket sales yet? When they become available and pricing?

Had it 3-3 going into the 7th and wouldnt argue with a point either way. Think Joshua under estimated Povetkin slightly, keeping a low guard at times thinking he would have been able to time him as he lunged in which wasnt really working for him. Povetkins movement and output was decent for a man at...

Davies is a complete ar$e on social media but I still think everyone over reacted to the whole thing. There are so called comedians/personalities on TV and writing in newspapers every day making sick jokes about all sorts of tragic events for shock reactions. These people get away with it even when ...

When someone asked another poster earlier "Have you read the book then?" I assume that they meant the book Bounce, The Myth of Talent? Its a good book and certainly gets you thinking, worth a read for anyone who finds fit to be an interesting subject. The book does also mention`musicians a...

The only outcome that would make me truly happy would be a double KO but failing that I hope Haye wins convincingly.

Big Tyson will be calling out Parker to fight for the pride of the Furys.

When I heard they scorecards I thought it was going the other way to be honest!

Great feet doesn't involve running around the ring, it is getting out of distance and in to land your shot. He has no intention of trying to land other than the counter jab Great feet is making the other guy miss and not being a target .... that's what Hughie is doing To me that's running and great...

With the way he is moving around I could easily believe that Mickey Vann is wearing a Hughie Fury costume tonight.

If Fury let his right hand go a little bit more he wouldnt be as terrible to watch.
Starting to heat up a bit now.

The success of a product is down to the demand. Hughie Fury on Youtube PPV flopping doesnt mean that the platform or idea is wrong, would just mean that its the wrong platform for his limited appeal. If Joshua v Klitschko was on youtube ppv it would be a success, same with Mayweather v McGregor etc...

I could see Canelo possibly getting a deserved points decision over him in a rematch. I think Canelo needs to be smarter with when he times his bursts and also attempt to finish rounds stronger. However, I appreciate that the adjustments I have mentioned aren't easy to make when you have a wrecking ...

I think a lot of people score fights based on how they expect a fighter to fight. Golovkin maintained his usual style, marching forward cutting off the ring although he probably missed a lot more than he is used to. This makes people think hes winning rounds and is comfortable because he is fighting...

I think GGG deserved the win but also think the dodgy scorecard has everyone exagerating how bad the decision was. It was a close fight, really close.

Im at work offshore and have no sky sports never mind PPV capability. We have shit wifi but its just borderline good enough for facetime. My current mission is to find someone who will firstly be awake for the fight, secondly be sober enough to provide a decent steady bit of footage and thirdly be w...

Yes as without them most fights would come to end due to broken hands or most work would be aimed towards the body.

I dont think the knockdowns in MMA are 100% because of the smaller gloves. A lot of its surely to do with positioning when the shots land. Their feet are all over the place when shots land, sometimes one leg off the ground attempting a kick or knee etc. Also the follow up to a knock down when they a...

Gents, its an ongoing thing thats been highlighted again by the Mayweather McGregor discussions but what is your opinion on glove sizes in boxing in general and also in comparison to MMA. Personally I think too many people look at the size difference and dont focus just on the knuckle part of the gl...

Like the idea of a museum buying them up for display, hate to see fighters having to sell everything up to make ends meet. Also as someone mentioned, I think theres something that would feel wrong about buying one. Having one on display in a games room or something would be great but the real value ...

Id be very surprised if there was a person on here who could come up with a top 30 that wouldnt get criticism.

If you put it out there then you are opening up the flood gates so fair play

I actually really fancy Burns to stop Crolla late. Think the styles gel perfectly for Burns to look good.
