Boxer's Birth's & Death's
Quite some time ago whilst checking out boxer's records Birth's & Death's one could always check on their passing on date. These days one cannot see these details anymore, myself when I'm checking out someone's Birth & Death dates I could rely on BoxRec information but these day's I can't. I...

Re: Barry Hearns Autobiography
I officiated on quite a few of Barry Hearn' s Boxing promotions over the years & a couple of months ago attended a dinner in his honour in Bexleyheath for his book signing. In all the time I have had dealings with him he has always acted as a real down to earth gentleman & never a problem. W...

Re: Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk - Anytime anyplace anywhere
Tyson Fury is the real deal & I agree with what his dad John said a while back "The Man hasn't Been Born To Beat His Son Yet" One just cant help liking Tyson's attitude to The Fight game I loved his Bat Man outfit. One thing for certain & that is if Tyson goes over he's going to ge...

Where is Jeff Hinds hiding?
Where is Jeff Hinds hiding these days? I haven't seen him doing what he does best & that is reffing contests on TV for absolute ages. Or has he fallen foul of those who must be obeyed by way of upsetting something in their book of childish rules? I understand Jeff has been officiating for well o...

Re: Can we rank him again?
Myself I like Fury & no one can deny he did the business against The Man in Germany. He says some things he shouldn't but nobody's perfect, one cannot deny the fact he's a very good fighter who always gives 100%. I'm hoping he's over his medical problems & will soon be back to where he was b...

Re: Billy Joe Saunders and Tyson Fury
I have been in Tyson Fury's company & the fella is 1st class, I agree he says things he shouldn't but nobodies perfect. I was with him in Norwich not so long ago at a boxing event & he didn't refuse one single fan a photo or autograph, some are not as friendly. I hope he puts his problems be...

Re: Jimmy Tibbs - Billy Joe
It was clear to see that BJS was missing the good professional corner advice by Jimmy Tibbs last Saturday night, he struggled & was not in condition, what ever they may have fallen out over I would like to see them reunited as they are a good team & everyone in the fight game knows Jimmy Tib...

I think Carl Frampton has a point & certainly deserves to be included in the list for what he has done, but its the same old story, perhaps his face doesen't fit

Well done to The Jon Pegg camp for a Gr8 nights boxing & 2 Gr8 results for their camp. Hard work & dedication has paid off. Jon treats all his lads as his own sons & that shows. Nice to see him come to the front on a Big show.

It seems as if Jeff Hinds will never make it to an A Star referee position, only those who must be obeyed can tell you why. Perhaps his face doesen't fit with certain people in office which is a shame as the man is 100% sound

Re: Amir Khan's "Unlicensed" Promotion in Pakistan
The Board do sanction shows abroad, Eubank Snr fighting abroad some years ago & Clinton Woods fought in Jersey a few years ago & these shows used British officials. As for Amir Khan being called up that just wont happen, it was mentioned a at a Board seminar years ago about unlicenced people...

Re: Joe Fournier - a few questions
You have to realise they had people talking who knew nothing about boxing. Darren Barker was introduced as a former European champion & not world champion. One said Joe Frazier came from Pennsylvania instead of Philadelphia & to say this novice would be ready for Bellew after a few more figh...

Re: Quigg Didn't Freeze In The Early Rounds.....
Carl Froch was without a doubt a Gr8 fighter but from what he said about last nights contest being a draw, in my opinion he is a poor judge I agreed with the 2 judges who gave it to Frampton I thought he won it clear, Quigg did nothing in the 1st 6 rounds & that's a lot to make up ![[icon_shame.gif] :shame:](./images/smilies/icon_shame.gif)

Re Reading referee Jeff Hinds.
Reading referee Jeff Hinds has apparently been turned down yet again to being made up to a Class A referee, absolutely no reasons why have given by The Board of Control.
