Re: LOL @ Gary Stretch

A while ago, upon hearing Gary Stretch was in Thailand, I thought I'd track him down for an interview. I didn't have a commission but thought the obvious likes of Boxing News or Monthly might be interested, and/or the newspaper I work for, the Bangkok Post. Well, he's now an actor and apparently th...

Re: Khan's better than Hatton

Sorry mate can't agree with that. Until the Bradley fight, Peterson hadn't fought anyone of note. He lost to Bradley by a wide points margin and was on his arse in the third. Then he drew with Ortiz and again was on his arse in the third. The only result of note on his resume is this latest win agi...

Re: Khan's better than Hatton

Bearing in mind how Amir dealt with in-fighting last weekend does anyone who posted above saying he's better than Hatton still think he beats a prime Ricky Hatton? Not that I'm slagging Khan off, I think he's still a talent and gets WAY too much stick on here, but just goes to show how people get c...

Re: How much does a small hall show cost to promote?

As far as I'm aware York Hall costs around 2k to hire out for a small hall promotion. Tv shows are more. A standard fighters purse is in the region of 1k to £1200 but then most fighters are on ticket deals, meaning they may take more money home if they sell so many tickets etc. However the BBBoC ar...

Re: Vitali Klitschko vs Dereck Chisora Feb 18th

Hope this fight happens, I think chisora deserves a shot after his last performance ! Really? Ofcoarse his last fight was a controversial loss but does he deserve a title fight after 2 straight losses? He'll get hammered. But he was robbed last time out. We alll know it. I would like to see Chisora...

Re: SO... ANYONE STILL THINK AMIR WOULD HAVE BEATEN TIM BRADLEY?

I had Peterson winning the fight regardless of the points. He scored with the better punches thorughtout most of nte rounds.

Khan lost the fight but I woud not rule him out winnng the rematch.

yes. Froch needs to know when to take a 1/2 step backwards and catch Ward coming in. Up close its an asier fight for the headbutting style of Ward.
