Need Info On Carl Starling

The local Biscayne Bay Community Paper just ran a one page article on "Captain" Carl Starling former middleweight from Miami and a veteran of the 82nd Airborne. Born in Miami, Starling grew up in the Bahamas; he fought out of Miami and Nassau. Does anyone know his career record? Thanks. Dane

Elmo Henderson 1958-1981?

I saw a bout for Elmo Henderson vs. Curtis Cokes in the 1950's-maybe 58. I came across a TD an Elmo Henderson had against a fellow named Roberto Reynosa in I believe 80 or 81. Same Elmo?

Butterbean-Weaver

The Miami Herald wrote about the upcoming Bean vs. Larry Holmes bout and had Bean listed as 45-1, so it's clear that a lot of newspapers do not have the correct records for many fighters.

I saw Rondon defeat Oliver Wright in a 10 rounder in Miami Beach. He was a good inside fighter, as the entire fight was fought inside. In 1974, I saw Rondon TKO'd in 3 to Rodney Bobick. Rondon was "shot". He did nothing. He was unable to get off the stool for round three. A month or so lat...
