Re: WHO WINS? Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez vs. Billy Joe Saunders
I think Canelo would nick it with his eye catching flurries. I wouldn't rule out Saunders completely though.

Re: is bjs the uks top boxer
With the likes of Lemieux, Lee and Eubank on his resume its very impressive. I think we will only see Saunders true ability when he faces the either Canelo or Golovkin. I certainly wouldn't rule him out of producing an upset in either of those fights.

Re: make spike vs lemieux
is lem really levels above him though. thing with spike is that hes had a career until now where his only really notable opponents happened to be guys who would/did beat lemieux too. and bjs beat lem every bit as convingcly as he beat spike. douglas finally represented a level spike shouldve been m...

Re: Spike O'Sullivan vs. Antoine Douglas - December 16th 2017
I haven't seen enough of Quigley to put him in that category yet. At the very least Spike can whack so you'd expect him to test Quigley's chin a couple of times. I think Quiqleys superior boxing skills would help him outbox spike easily just like Saunders did a few years back. Quiqley is a world si...

Yes I agree, would be a good fight for back for Lemieux though. Spike ideally suited to make Lemieux look good in my opinion.smiling assassin wrote: ↑17 Dec 2017, 06:58 Lemieux would take spikes head clean off his shoulders. Levels above Spike

Re: Spike O'Sullivan vs. Antoine Douglas - December 16th 2017
Quiqley would destroy spike. Levels above him. Spikes slow feet and non existent head movement make him a sitting duck for any decent boxer. Although he will probably get a big fight next I can't see him causing any trouble to likes of Golovkin, Canelo, Saunders, Jacobs, Lemieux, Quiqley etc....toug...

Re: Rocky Fielding vs. David Brophy - September 30th 2017
Rocky Fielding Good competitive fight but I can't see Fielding not taking this as I think Fielding hits harder, has more experience at the higher level and has the better resume. I never really rated Brophy when I watched him but I didn't see his last fight which was a great result over a undefeated...

Re: josh Warrington v Joseph Diaz
Joseph Diaz
He has a far superior skill set and although not a monster puncher he defiantly hits harder than Warrington. Don't think this fight will happen next as I can't see Warrington being put into a tough fight like this next without a world title on the line.

Re: split training vs whole body workout?
I am a qualified S&C coach and I am still horrified this question is still being asked ! First off think of the sport....BOXING In a boxing match the whole body is used, you don't stand still not move your legs and just use your "chest", "back", "arms". So train the...

Re: Dunn v Brophy
Billy I have tried for years to work out why Brophy doesn't stop more opponents. He is a big strong lad and seems to punch very hard, but there's something missing. You know, I'm no expert but having seen him close up I think he actually 'stops' his punches as they land - in other words he doesn't ...

I respect your opinion but can't understand your thought process that David can't be that fit has he was stopped by George in four rounds? George is a very big puncher and if he lands on the money your in trouble no matter your level of fitness Take my word that there isn't a fitter boxer in Scotla...

Dunn is very agressive , and very very fit , reasonable power , not to the standard of say Groves , But more than capable of handling guys below Groves standard , Your boy better be in top condition if he wants to edge this one out Billy ,, he'll not only have to match him for fitness but be fitter...

Can't see saunders going in with golovkin anytime soon. He deserves huge respect if he does fight golovkin but can't see any other result other than golovkin smashing saunders.

117 to 111 to mayweather. Thought the judges scorecards were spot on. I'm shocked people think manny won. The aim of boxing is hit and don't get hit..Floyd put on a masterclass of this tonight and anyone who thinks manny won get your head and eyes tested.
