Ok ... we are never going to agree on this, its one of them topics where we are going to around and around in circles ... we will possibly be still arguing about this long enough for me to be proved completely correct on the points I have made

Someone made a point to me on the phone today that I had to agree with ... We have seen the best of Carl Froch, and we wont see that Carl Froch again.

My attitude to that is, whichever opponent fights Froch now, needs to take their chance because it is the only one they are going to get ... George Groves got his chance and failed to take it, he LOST. There is nothing else to be stated on the matter ;;-)

Carl Froch has probably 2 fights left in him ... it makes perfect sense for Froch to chase the money fights - ok I will be honest if that means he has to SMASH Groves again then so beit. If however, Team Chavez Jr come in with a ridiculous offer then I wouldnt even think about Groves.

Another point that I made to another boxrec poster today on the phone is ... George Groves did fabuously well against Froch, however in my opinion he had his chance and as predicted Froch was eventually going to drag Groves into the trenches where Groves would unravel and would then eventually lose. Despite all of the excellent banter on here, George Groves is going to prove me right on one point and that is he is going to be one of those fighters who will just as likely lose a fight as he will win it ... Groves has vulnerabilities.

I will concede one point to you young man, that 1st round f*cking shocked me ... but I knew if Carl could get through the first half of the fight he would find a way to win.

Havn't got a f*cking clue mate :!: :!:

My thoughts on the fight were if George could box long and use his world class jab and basically fight a boring fight he could win the fight on the judges scorecards. The knockdown of Froch was a huge plus point. My main concern for Groves was being dragged into a slugfest, that happened and he lost the fight.

And the Stoppage shocked pretty much anyone who was not a family member of Froch or one of his secret admirers on Boxrec

How did Froch SMASH him? Ok he won premature stoppage but he won granted. Smash is a touch extreme, since Groves schooled him for most of the fight.

Froch is over, he has been since the ward fight, the only fight which sells is Groves 2. No one will pay for Ward 2 as Froch was so badly beaten in the first fight its a no sell.

Honestly if Groves and Froch had separate ppv on the same night at this point in time Groves outsells Froch

Swear some posters can't read body language in a fight! Groves got off to a flyer looked the buisness & maybe poured too much into the contest but champions can do that!
Groves needs more learning fights, he can win a world title but needs to take his time imo

Are you referring to Groves staggering away and turning his back to get away from Frochs punches?

At some stage I will answer your very valid questions ... but I have some very glaring and obvious ones myself ...

Froch is getting pasted on this forum .. if thats peoples opinions then fine and if Carl Froch was that bad in his last fight against Groves ... why oh why oh why on the basis of that fight have people got such a high opinion of George Groves?

Some people are stating that George Groves will definitely be a world champion ... why & how??

I am serious without banter and wind up comments which yes I am guilty of, lets get down to some sensible debate.

Ok ... I will start it off, my honest opinion is George Groves clearly did incredibly well in the fight, but I am positive I will be proved right on this Groves has vulnerabilities and as such he is one of those fighters who is just as likely to lose as he is to win ...

Now to your points ...

I concede to you on the SMASH comment :TU:

Froch will still sell a venue out no problems ... on what evidence do you feel a Carl Froch fight wont sell ... your comment is incredibly flawed as you have no evidence to support it. My evidence on Froch is he has sold out venues at everyone of his last few fights!! Or are you saying the Phones4U Arena was sold out due to George Groves?

Froch is a great world champion who has fought top level opposition like no other fighter in this country has done in many many years ... now please if you can prove me wrong on that point :TU:

I'm talking about him kicking frochs ass for 6rds then his body looking reddend his laxic acid slowing him up from all the big power punches, him walking back to the corner exhausted.
Adam booth would of been in that corner & wouldn't of been praising him, he'd of kept a lid on that can of whoop ass & made sure groves didn't over commit which was he's own undoing.
