Just got a phone call off a mate to tell me this!

Holy crap. Fair play to Brook he is a big welter and can probably do MW with the right training camp. It's not like Khan, who turned over at LW, fighting Canelo. I'd expect Kell and GGG to probably weigh about the same in the ring.

Eubank jnr vs Saunders 2 on the undercard, anybody?

Not sure how the latter is gonna happen with Saunders with Fwank.

Wow, unbelievable news. No arguments about Brook's ambitions now if this goes ahead. He will get destroyed, but credit to him for taking this.

The only possible negative of this fight is will probably not see Brook at welterweight again to fight the likes of Thurman and co.

I might actually put money on Brook though depending on what the odds look like.

Brook wouldn't be taking the fight if he didn't think he could win. It's keeping Brook happy.
Or it's a cash out given that he wasn't getting offered "enough" to face Vargas...
 Yeah, because world champion boxers in their prime always cash out.

Fair play to Khan, he's tweeted that he's behind Brook 100% (although also put in a dig to say don't pull out )

Only a 2 month camp, does anyone know if Kell has been in training?

Living a minute away from Brammal lane gutted this isn't local, but assuming O2 as will be some big ticket prices to cover GGG costs.

 my boxing politics are very poor these days. I am just trying to enjoy the game now without all the bollocks and cynicism and have consequently become more excitable and naive. Perhaps Jnr could be on the undercard at least, calling out GGG after his latest knockover?

I have to say that was my first thoughts too. He's a better boxer and the best chin is the chin that doesn't get hit, as the old cliche goes. Eubank has the size but is going to get clobbered all night. I can see Kell being more elusive.

Brook should stay at welterweight.

This fight is stupid.

Damn still sinking in Brook better be getting some serious money for this though.

I simply can not see any other outcome than GGG winning by destruction. Seriously how can anyone give him more of a chance than Lemeiux or Conelo. I mean some actually gave Khan some chance against Conelo but this is a whole new level.

If Brook pulls this off then it''s close to Turpin v Robinson 1

Jumping from Bizier to GGG is like playing Non League football to Real Madrid.

This is absolutely brilliant.

Might as well get the congratulations to Brook out first. He's got bollocks the size of his belly to step up this fight, however for the first time in a long time I'll gladly be screaming to Eddie "Shut up and take my money". £16.99 or whatever is a bargain to see Thepehal Kell Bwuck get sparked out.

Listening to some boxing podcasts today, can't remember if it was Bunce or Nuthouse, but in one they were saying he was looking pretty big and that he would struggle to make WW again. I'm pretty sure it was Nuthouse, actually.

They were completely mugging him off for being fat and only in it for the money.

Definitely Nuthouse.
