I've given my props mate.Parson Cross wrote:Stand by all the haters become lovers.

Just got a phone call off a mate to tell me this!
Holy crap. Fair play to Brook he is a big welter and can probably do MW with the right training camp. It's not like Khan, who turned over at LW, fighting Canelo. I'd expect Kell and GGG to probably weigh about the same in the ring.
Eubank jnr vs Saunders 2 on the undercard, anybody?

I'll love watching Brook get smeared all over the canvas.Parson Cross wrote:Stand by all the haters become lovers.

Not sure how the latter is gonna happen with Saunders with Fwank.clopixolacuphase wrote:Just got a phone call off a mate to tell me this!

Re: Golovkin v Brook - CONFIRMED
Wow, unbelievable news. No arguments about Brook's ambitions now if this goes ahead. He will get destroyed, but credit to him for taking this.
Re: Golovkin v Brook - CONFIRMED
I am going to go to this and take the chance to see two excellent/great boxer even though the weight issue will make it an uneven match.
Fair play to brook and Hearn- about fuckjng time.

Re: Golovkin v Brook - CONFIRMED
The only possible negative of this fight is will probably not see Brook at welterweight again to fight the likes of Thurman and co.
I might actually put money on Brook though depending on what the odds look like.

Fair play to Khan, he's tweeted that he's behind Brook 100% (although also put in a dig to say don't pull out

Re: Golovkin v Brook - CONFIRMED
Only a 2 month camp, does anyone know if Kell has been in training?
Living a minute away from Brammal lane gutted this isn't local, but assuming O2 as will be some big ticket prices to cover GGG costs.

Eubank jnr isn't happy
"I haven't been shown one contract since my fight with GGG was announced. I'm still ready & waiting to sign. Fighting Brook is a joke #2Small"

Re: Golovkin v Brook - CONFIRMED
I have to say that was my first thoughts too. He's a better boxer and the best chin is the chin that doesn't get hit, as the old cliche goes. Eubank has the size but is going to get clobbered all night. I can see Kell being more elusive.mickey1975 wrote:Brook does better than Jr.

you just cant second guess this game can ya ? kells getting smashed but i hope to god the bookies overate brook so we can all make a few quid !
Re: Golovkin v Brook - CONFIRMED
Brook should stay at welterweight.
This fight is stupid.

Re: Golovkin v Brook - CONFIRMED
Damn still sinking in Brook better be getting some serious money for this though.
I simply can not see any other outcome than GGG winning by destruction. Seriously how can anyone give him more of a chance than Lemeiux or Conelo. I mean some actually gave Khan some chance against Conelo but this is a whole new level.
If Brook pulls this off then it''s close to Turpin v Robinson 1
Jumping from Bizier to GGG is like playing Non League football to Real Madrid.

Re: Golovkin v Brook - CONFIRMED
i wonder who the crowd will be behind obviously brook is the english fighter but Golovkin is the star coming over most will be there to see Golovkin not Brook ....50/50 i reckon
Re: Golovkin v Brook - CONFIRMED
This is absolutely brilliant.
Might as well get the congratulations to Brook out first. He's got bollocks the size of his belly to step up this fight, however for the first time in a long time I'll gladly be screaming to Eddie "Shut up and take my money". £16.99 or whatever is a bargain to see Thepehal Kell Bwuck get sparked out.

Re: Golovkin v Brook - CONFIRMED
Can brook bring weapons in or Margarito hand wraps ?
Re: Golovkin v Brook - CONFIRMED
Listening to some boxing podcasts today, can't remember if it was Bunce or Nuthouse, but in one they were saying he was looking pretty big and that he would struggle to make WW again. I'm pretty sure it was Nuthouse, actually.adamwillan wrote:Only a 2 month camp, does anyone know if Kell has been in training?

They were completely mugging him off for being fat and only in it for the money.
Definitely Nuthouse.
