Yeh coke is basically going to the sugar jar and eating it. Not to mention fizzy drinks being generally full of poo, chemicals, E numbers and other nasties that a 'professional athlete' should be going nowhere near.

I think he was basically a man child. If he couldn't even stop basic things like that and look after himself like a grown up, rather than eating the diet of an 18 year old in his first year at uni, then I guess the lack of success that followed is no real surprise.

I rewatched the Eggington fight and the commentary is hilarious. Macklin and co telling us how great Gavin is while he's taking a hiding. "This is one of Frankies best performances" while Eggington is hammering him in the corner

I was at that fight and couldn't believe the commentary when watching it back the next day.

Don't matter how much talent you've got if you ain't 100% committed to boxing then competing at a high level shouldn't be for you. Take Sam eggington for example, hasn't got half the talent Gavin has but smashed the granny out of him because he loves the game and is dedicated to his training and the commitments of eating right. If Gavin's diet was right them two would never of been seen in the same ring together
