David Bey RIP. And please note I'm not disrespecting but it's notable how as soon as any fighter passes, he suddenly becomes a superior fighter and should've been world champion.... bey was ok, but no standout.

The only thing more passe than enlarging the accomplishments of a dead fighter in an RIP thread is a forum half life showing up to belittle the dead fighter. Bey beat two heavyweight champs and gave an all-time top 5 heavy a good title fight. I'm sure that pales in comparison to your lifetime accomplishments.

Fighter dies. People like to talk about his career highlights, usually in preference to their bad nights. Giving Holmes a good fight as a novice was a pretty good achievement no matter what came next.
