He can't defeat anybody in the Top 40. He knows that. That's why all he can do is try to talk a bunch of sh*t and hope somebody takes the bait.
"Earning a title shot"
Those days are long gone for Shannon Briggs.
He can't defeat anybody in the Top 40. He knows that. That's why all he can do is try to talk a bunch of sh*t and hope somebody takes the bait.
Why add the word "convincingly"...he's not beating a Top 10 contender AT ALL. Not even with a fluke lucky shot. He has NO CHANCE against anybody that is in the Top 10. I personally would give him no shot against anybody in the Top 20.Syntax Error wrote: ↑15 Feb 2018, 12:09A wheezy old gasbag & steroid freak like Briggs isn't defeating a top 10 contender convingly these days.
This is the reason why he just shouts loudly, but rarely ever actually fights.
He just wants to talk himself into a payday.
You genuinly didn't get the joke? Despite I wrote "Oh wait." At the end? And it told me that the WBC sucks ofcourse.gilgamesh wrote: ↑15 Feb 2018, 12:15It wasn't a theory. They DID fight for a title. A paper one. One that Shannon Briggs isn't even worthy for a shot against...even in a watered down paper title world. What's that tell you?asdfjkl wrote: ↑11 Feb 2018, 21:41It sure is, yes, in theory it's possible indeed, in theory Arreola and Stiverne could fight for a world heavyweight title. Oh wait.Syntax Error wrote: ↑11 Feb 2018, 10:23
It's like arguing with a toddler!
I never said Vitali didn't possess those attributes, I merely intimated (as if it needs to be said) that someone weighing 225 lbs can in theory be a harder puncher than someone weighing 250 lbs.
Yeah I got the joke, and I'm with you that the WBC sucks. Add in that the WBA, IBF and WBO all suck as well. They're all useless.asdfjkl wrote: ↑15 Feb 2018, 22:48You genuinly didn't get the joke? Despite I wrote "Oh wait." At the end? And it told me that the WBC sucks ofcourse.
And the way Boxing does things you can't put it past 'em.SenorPipino wrote: ↑15 Feb 2018, 23:03 I'm sure that if one day Briggs was somehow bestowed the heavyweight title by the WBC, you would do a 180 and worship that organization.
I was going to post exactly the same view. But I let it slip by.gilgamesh wrote: ↑16 Feb 2018, 14:35And the way Boxing does things you can't put it past 'em.SenorPipino wrote: ↑15 Feb 2018, 23:03 I'm sure that if one day Briggs was somehow bestowed the heavyweight title by the WBC, you would do a 180 and worship that organization.
I get the impression he's like that dude in Alan partridge, he probably has jizz-spattered posters of Briggs all over his living room, from floor to ceiling.SenorPipino wrote: ↑10 Feb 2018, 17:40Asdfjkl believes a lot of things that normal human beings don't.
Most of these things, for some odd reason, center around the grandeur of Shannon Briggs or the treachery and deceit of Deontay Wilder.
Just the thought of it is mind boggling...but probably 100% accurate.jamesmcdonnell wrote: ↑16 Feb 2018, 16:57I get the impression he's like that dude in Alan partridge, he probably has jizz-spattered posters of Briggs all over his living room, from floor to ceiling.SenorPipino wrote: ↑10 Feb 2018, 17:40Asdfjkl believes a lot of things that normal human beings don't.

In reality I'm not even a fan of him at all, but by reading what's going on in your minds, it genuinly makes me wonder if you two would get angry at each other when you kiss, because both of you will recognice the taste of Wilder his dick.SenorPipino wrote: ↑16 Feb 2018, 19:49Just the thought of it is mind boggling...but probably 100% accurate.jamesmcdonnell wrote: ↑16 Feb 2018, 16:57I get the impression he's like that dude in Alan partridge, he probably has jizz-spattered posters of Briggs all over his living room, from floor to ceiling.SenorPipino wrote: ↑10 Feb 2018, 17:40
