I saw a great interview on YouTube talking about his career he did a while back, will link it here if I can find it again. The funny thing is that he was such a hard warrior in the ring but so softly spoken and unassuming...

Jealous! The Rothmann fight was fantastic too, probably even better in the come from behind stakes...

I thought of Duran, but front of mind for me was the Barkley performance.

Duran v Moore and Duran v Barkley were both great performances from the ultimate warrior Duran was a brilliant boxer as well as a truly great fighter he had everything and I don’t think we will ever see the likes of him again

Wilfredo Gomez against Rocky Lockridge in 1985 in Puerto Rico is one that springs to my mind - and over 15 rounds.

Good call that. I was on the edge of my seat from the fifth round on. Brilliant scrap it was.

Great call. You can debate the result all you want, but either way it's indisputable that to come back and perform the way Leonard did against that level of opposition was undoubtedly great.

I've always said that,he was retired, and welterweight and came out of nowhere to beat the much bigger and stronger long reigning champion, argue about the decision but it was certainly close enough to be called either way,a brilliant achievement in my eyes.
