Might do, but it'll help his career loads to prove it if he can.

We could do with a WBSS with him; Hughie; Mak; Ajagba; Parker; Joyce; Dubois; Usyk (again!)...

It’s a stretch putting him top five in UK...

Hughie dropped his British title to avoid Joe Joyce (who would have had his CW and WBA gold title on the table too)

Hard to forgive that kind of duck imo...

1. T.Fury
2. AJ
3. Whyte
4. Chisora
5. Joyce (he's debut almost = Hughie's best win)
6. Dubois (Gorman is better than Hughie's best win)
7. Allen
8. H.Fury

Bless him he's convinced he beat Parker #shadesofali
Allen above Hughie? Hahahahaha

If he beats Price convincingly this weekend, he'd have at least a slight argument for being ranked above him for the time being at least.

Hughie hasn't really done anything to be thought of all that highly at the moment. Allen hasn't either. They're on about the same level in terms of achievement as of this moment.

100%. Hughie backers always point to his two losses as his best performances. That's gotta tell you something. If his name wasn't Fury, we wouldn't be discussing him at all.

Is this a joke? Since when did Allen become rated? He is a journeyman. Sky doing a great con job. Just watch them fight, Hughie is miles better. Lenroy fornicating Thomas boxed Allens head off. Beating the corpse of Lucas Browne means nothing. I cant even believe what I am reading. Allen is awful.

Hughie 100% beats Allen, probably 120-108. Absolutely terrible matchup for Allen.

Hughie isn’t near top 5 in the world - that’s fantasy stuff. He’s better than Allen ffs though!

I didn't say David Allen is as good as Hughie, but if he beats David Price that's probably about as good as any win Hughie currently has.

Hughie would box Allen's ears off for the record. I'm just acknowledging their current records, not their abilities.

I completely disagree.
I agree with you - Khan can be a dick (especially if there is a webcam around) but he has been very successful.

Khans biggest problem is that he is up for a fight

Hughies biggest problem is that he isn’t up for a fight

Actually dan they're done on kickbacks from promoters to sanctioning bodies and laundered through Intercontinental, Gold, Silver etc titles. But Hughie Fury doesn't have any better wins than Allen that I can think of.

I have always thought that rankings were exactly that - who is believed to be better.

Well they're not suppose to be, they're supposed to be on if boxer A who is ranked 10 beats boxer B who is ranked at 5, boxer A moves up the rankings. But as per the last poster the bodies are corrupt so it works however they want it to work

I get the theory mate, like the old boxing video games when you could only fight a guy two or three places above and if you won, you took his spot and aimed to repeat the exercise until you fought for the title (image if that is how it really had to happen!)

In the real world, people manoeuvre themselves without fighting a higher ranked guy, or at least not in such a nice neat orderly fashion. Thus the rankings have to be a subjective opinion on who can beat who, and who is better

Yeah you're fully right

Fury's beaten no one to deserve any ranking above Allen. It's like if Usyk goes a few years fighting Allen type fighters, he'd deserve no ranking anywhere near the top boys; no matter how good he is technically
