Picked up the southern area, English, British and commonwealth titles over his first 12 fights. Just turned 22.
Not sure what more he could have done so far. Some people's expectations are unrealistic

Yes no rush. He is 22 and has only had 13 fights. Mike Tyson's fight decent opponent was Jesse Ferguson in his 18th fight. Let him build his confidence.

Frank W, Daniel Dubois and Tommy Fury quotes for Dec.21 card
FRANK W today revealed details of Queensberry Promotions’ bumper ‘The Fight Before Christmas’ show at London’s Copper Box Arena on Saturday December 21.
FRANK W:
“Fujimoto is ranked 12 by the WBA, has a good record and this is a fight that will get Daniel a lot of exposure as we strive to make him a global brand.
“We are working on making Daniel a number one contender with a governing body. I will get him there.
“I loved what I saw of Daniel as a senior amateur, but what he has done as a professional has been punch perfect. At this stage of his career he is the best young heavyweight I have seen in British boxing.
“He is in love with boxing. His mission is to become unified world champion and he will do it. I could make a world title fight tomorrow and he would win, but he needs that little bit more experience. When he wins a world title it is about making sure he keeps it.
“This time next year he is going to do the business (in a world title). And next year there could also be a collision with Joe Joyce.
“Tommy will go much further than KSI as a boxer. He has a great future. There is a lot of pressure through Love Island, but he is confident and mature enough to deal with that. He has a career and it’s my job to deliver and guide him so he can achieve his dreams. If he keeps his side of the bargain and trains we can go on.
I am delighted he is back. He came into the sport as the brother of Tyson and now he is his own man. It will be a cracking card and a Christmas present for the fans.”
DANIEL DUBOIS
“I am very happy. My career has been perfect so far and I have progressed in and out of the ring. I am with Frank W who is one of the best promoters ever and there is my Dad, Martin and Tony Bowers. We are going all the way. My trainer Martin has organised so much and puts in so much hard work. I am going to make sure I become a success.
“It is coming together and in each camp I have improved. If I can get to a world title challenge soon I am more than ready. Timing is everything. I will continue winning in style and I will get there soon. It is a hell of a challenge against Fujimoto, but I will be ready and take him out in devastating fashion.
“The boxing audience is taking notice and that is down to the hard work we put in. I’m ready for the next step. I love the recognition. It is what I have been after since I was five-years-old. My feet are on the ground. I just stick to what I am good at and remain humble.
“And I have been a student of this sport since I was young. I am obsessed by it all. The sport is filled with great fighters and I want to be a legend when I have finished.
“Fear is an asset for me. It’s a weapon and I use it in every fight.”
TOMMY FURY:
“It is good to be back after Love Island and life is good. I feel at home when I’m in the squared circle. Fame is one thing, but it is how you cope with it. You can let it go to your head and run around thinking you’re too good for everybody. But, you are the same as everybody. It’s just that a few more people want to take your picture or get a signature. I am still the same man as I was before Love Island – the same lad who was boxing on the Josh Warrington-Carl Frampton undercard.
“There are a lot of avenues that I could have taken since I did Love Island, but you have to ask if these things are making you happy. TV is great, but I am happiest when I am fighting. It is in my blood. I am a fighting man and here to prove it.
“And I have been training my heart out for a few weeks, because after the last few months I’ve had to. And I know what it takes and I am doing it every day in the gym.
“I watched the YouTubers fight at the weekend and I admire them both because it takes a man to get in the ring. And I heard KSI wants to fight again and I am here if he wants to fight me. They had no boxing experience, trained their balls off for ten weeks, got in the ring and had a fight so I have nothing but respect.
“Just 12 months ago, I had 3000 followers and only known in my local kebab shop. Now I’m pushing on for three million followers. I’m still the little boy who grew up in Salford. I don’t think I am too good for anybody."
Tommy wants to expand audience to boxing
“And I am here to do the best I can. I want to bring a new audience to boxing as a lot of those there on December 21 will not have been to a boxing show before.
“Molly loves me boxing and watches it on YouTube. She is throwing combinations in the mirror every day. I have the right people around me and I just have to do the work in the gym.
“I think my brother Tyson will be there. To have the best heavyweight in the world sitting ringside makes you want to dig deep. Tyson is a worldwide superstar doing boxing, MMA and wrestling. Why not? Nothing is guaranteed in life. I would wrestle in a heartbeat. And I have wanted to do that all along.
“I take every day as it comes, but I wouldn’t be in boxing if I couldn’t reach the top. If I didn’t believe I could be a world champion I wouldn’t do it. One day I will be holding all the belts."
Queensberry Promotions are heading to the Copper Box Arena to stage a bumper night of boxing on December 21st.
Unbeaten Heavyweight sensation Daniel Dubois (13-0) looks to continue his path of destruction against Japan’s Kyotaro Fujimoto (21-1). The WBC Silver Heavyweight championship and the WBO International Heavyweight belts will be on the line.
Light Heavyweight prospect and Love Island star Tommy Fury (2-0) makes his long awaited return to the boxing ring after winning the hearts of the nation on the popular ITV reality television show over the summer.
Tickets from £40 are now on sale via Seetickets and will be available via Ticketmaster on Wednesday.

Kyotaro Fujimoto Holds Press Conference With Panda Ahead of Daniel Dubois Fight
Japanese Heavyweight Kyotaro Fujimoto today unveiled his secret weapon for defeating Daniel Dubois on December 21st: a panda.
At a press conference in Tokyo’s famous Korakuen Hall, Fujimoto declared the bear was key to get him ready to tackle his “scary” opponent.
With his trademark multi-colour hair, and equally impressive suit, Fujimoto stunned the room when he said: “My opponent is a giant of a man. He seems as big and strong as a bear. It’s a little scary to fight a bear, so I’ve brought in a panda as a sparring partner.”
Unveiling his unorthodox training partner to the assembled media, Fujimoto finished the remainder of the press conference with his bamboo-loving friend at his side.
Fujimoto, a 33 year old Heavyweight with an impressive 21-1 record and a #12 ranking with the WBA, confessed to being impressed with what he’d seen of Daniel Dubois in the ring.
He said: “I watched some of his fights… my impression is that he boxes very skilfully”
Daniel ‘Dynamite’ Dubois, at just 22, is widely regarded as the most exciting prospect in Heavyweight boxing and at 13-0 with 12 KO’s represents a huge challenge to the Asian boxer.
Fujimoto accepts the deck is stacked in Daniel’s favour, but believes the fight is a milestone moment in his life and one that could change it for the better.
“It’s been a long road getting here so I’m really excited to finally make it to the big stage. Winning this fight is going to change my life, and I want to change my life.”
On the line in this epic match-up will be Daniel Dubois’ WBO International Heavyweight Title and also the WBC Silver Title.
The WBC Silver title was formerly held by Dillian Whyte and is seen as a key stepping stone to a shot at a World title.
When asked about Dubois’, and promoter allegedly’s plans to make him a World Champion Fujimoto said: “They think they’re going to win, of course. They think they’re bringing me over as nothing more than an opponent for an easy win, but that’s not the case. I’m ready to take on the world.”
Channelling the spirit of Sylvester Stallone’s famous character, he went on to insist that on December 21st at the Copper Box Arena he could battle to an unlikely Rocky Balboa-style win.
“I’m going to go over there and fight with the spirit of Rocky. This is my big chance to show what I’m made of. I’m going to do my best to make this my Christmas present.
If I win, it’s going to change my life.”
Several images from the press conference are available here.

Re: Daniel Dubois vs Kyotaro Fujimoto -
Dubois and Fury jnr really are polar opposites
Ones talking about unifying divisions and trying to become a legend in the sport, the other is talking about fighting a white collar level YouTube star and trying hit 3 million followers!
Might work in Daniels favour if some of the love island teeny boppers tune in to see Tommy and catch a genuinely big bad mofo in the ring knocking people about. Then again, I guess they’ll tune out once Tommy has his win.
Strange old goings on but fair play to Fury jnr, he’s making top dough off it.

All this social media calling out and PPV 'events' are spoiling the sport IMO, you are getting minor celebs and novices becoming millionaires after one fight. It's going to attract the wrong people to the sport, people after instant fame and fortune without having to fight their way to the top. Of course promoters will lap these fights up as they are earning a fortune from them too!lillywhite14 wrote: ↑14 Nov 2019, 17:24 the other is talking about fighting a white collar level YouTube star and trying hit 3 million followers!

Its almost on a par with things like X-Factor, established singers and bands touring for ages and building up a following and then some unknown spotty 17 year old comes along, wins the show, gets a lucrative contract, fame and fortune and a xmas number one.

I agree for the most part, but he should at least be fighting guys on the same level, not taking steps backwards like he has done the past 2 fights.keithmoonhangover wrote: ↑10 Nov 2019, 06:50 Dubois is young and shouldn't be rushed. It's probably a fine balancing act trying not to overmatch him too early but keeping him active. There will be decent fighters who won't want to fight him either for fear of ruining their own progress or ranking.Verdi wrote: ↑15 Nov 2019, 04:43I agree for the most part, but he should at least be fighting guys on the same level, not taking steps backwards like he has done the past 2 fights.keithmoonhangover wrote: ↑10 Nov 2019, 06:50 Dubois is young and shouldn't be rushed. Yeah it’s jank but rest easy in the knowledge that to really excel in the sport and win world titles, or any decent title, you’ll need natural talent, an extreme work ethic and serious cajones. A quick cash grab is fine by me, I’m not interested.Controversial wrote: ↑15 Nov 2019, 04:07All this social media calling out and PPV 'events' are spoiling the sport IMO, you are getting minor celebs and novices becoming millionaires after one fight. Success in boxing and sport isn’t determined by money, it’s titles and trophies. Two youtubers, who’d get laid out by half decent unlicensed fighters, aren’t achieving any success within the sport. They’re just fleecing their, frankly, moronic ( at least anyone over the age of 15/16, those under can be excused because they are children and don’t know any better ) fanbase of their money.
I’d actually like to see Tommy Fury fight one them youtubers. Assuming he takes it seriously of course. Tommy isn’t the next Tommy Hearns by any stretch, but he’d really hurt either of them and it would probably put paid to any other reality influencer type from thinking it’s a good way to earn some dough!

the last one was a big stiff idiot...but the Lartey fella before that came to trade and came to win. id like to see him in a british ring again. Bakole could fight Lartey/
