How do you know that a few hundred grand was paid or what deals were made? Taking the word of the Hutches? I can't really do that considering they were also involved in crime. Irish police believe they were responsible for the murder of Mel Cox for example who was shot dead in cold blood.GreenLightning wrote: ↑30 Apr 2022, 06:05Kinahans took a few hundred grand off the Hutches not to shoot Gary Hutch and shot him anyway
Yes sadly it looks like the Frampton thing was compo for Moore being shot outside Kinahans place

And Mel Cox was a criminal so surely she got what was coming to her no?? After Alan Ryan got killed some bum licker cane on the radio asking for evidence that he was a thug, the radio presenter said people had called them but we're too afraid to go on air to speak about it (kinda like that documentary they did that time, about boxing and the mob or something)
"Why would they be afraid to speak about him?!"
Guy comes on the air "My brother had words with him and then next thing he was outside my mother's house with some guys with bats and hammers "
"Your brother must have done something, and you should be careful making these accusations without evidence, your mother might be lying"
You just can't win

Thats what the Americans and Irish and other law enforcements are saying. We have to take law enforcements word. Still no convictions whereas the other side had convictions. I don't know about Mel Cox being involved in crime. It doesn't say that in news articles.GreenLightning wrote: ↑30 Apr 2022, 11:12What do you mean "also" involved in crime, you saying the Kinahans are involved in crime??TheLeprechaun wrote: ↑30 Apr 2022, 11:07How do you know that a few hundred grand was paid or what deals were made? There's been.over fifty convictions in Ireland of hitmen and associates of the Kinahans

i agree green i know i have shared comments with you back and forth on this thread, i just dont get why they have been hunted down particularly obviously you dont mess about with the fbi, was it the son craving the lime light to much ,or the young lad brutally murdered in ireland because after that you cant just sit back and be silent ,because there is uk gangsters that have been dealing with the irish lot who have backed promoters for big shows in 90s boxing no ones says nothing about that , i know it is a real selfish thing to say but it is a big hit to irish boxing and uk fighters , and bringing them down wont stop any killings or drugs if anything it will be a free for all now, more blood shed now , change really has to start from the bottom upGreenLightning wrote: ↑30 Apr 2022, 11:19 After Alan Ryan got killed some bum licker cane on the radio asking for evidence that he was a thug, the radio presenter said people had called them but we're too afraid to go on air to speak about it (kinda like that documentary they did that time, about boxing and the mob or something)

There's a theory they were planning to really go at the American market and had already approached a lot of fighters. They certainly didn't do things by half in any market.

You're right about the last bit, it does have to start at the bottom up, it's socio economic and bad drugs policy, but that doesn't mean I have sympathy for people who exploit it and proliferate poison
Just like I don't have sympathy for loansharks who pray on poor people, the system needs rearranged to help poor people, getting rid of loansharks alone won't fix it, but they are still scumbags
The yanks have been watching Kinahan since 2017 when they implicated him being involved with that infamous Dutch gangster, they also witnessed meetings between him and some very very dodgy people from the middle East
Trying to move on to America after that was mental, Daniel thought he was untouchable, Christy Kinahan was against going after the Hitches because he knew the attention it would bring, go all the way back to Johnny Torrio appeasing the Northsiders during the bootleg era because he knew a war would draw all the wrong sorts of attention, which it did, especially after the St Valentine's Day Massacre, that's why they went after Capone
These are also the reasons the Kinahans are particularly being sought after
The gangsters who have always been involved in boxing havnt been on this scale, running serious drugs and shooting people just for going to funerals
allegedly is a scumbag for example, but he's not on the level of Daniel Kinahan

The Regency brought the most attention, the Keane Mulready-Woods murder (the young lad) certainly brought public outrage but they were already after the Kinahans the killing spree was well under way ,them being in bed with serious international dealers and especially Middle Easterners with links to anti American Jihadi groups were what brought the American intelligence attentionbrilo33 wrote: ↑30 Apr 2022, 16:54i ve got no problem with that, iam not saying they shouldnt be taken down, iant under any illusion of who they are and what they do but they have been on the seen for years 20 odd, but every one of these big companies where having it with them and in big deals with them , i dont blame the boxers i couldnt careless as i dont know them iam just talking out loud i still think fear plays a huge roll in these boxers having links with them, iam just saying why are they gunning for them personally now , i think it was it was that brutal murder of the young lad ,it was that shocking off a murder that ireland couldnt hide the seriousness of irish gang land problem no more and mucking about with america irish american goverment are closeGreenLightning wrote: ↑30 Apr 2022, 16:37brilo33 wrote: ↑30 Apr 2022, 14:23

If you define they as the authories/powers that be

Nothing to do with fear. There’s plenty of MTK fighters (Frampton for example) who never mentioned Kinahan. There was no requirement to. Just idiot gobshites like Saunders, Fury, Sam Jones, Ben Davison etc who were too stupid to realise the position they were putting themselves in.brilo33 wrote: ↑30 Apr 2022, 10:16 Mtk I thought it was named after mack the knife. US bans more than 600 people connected with the Kinahan OCG from entering the country.
Ban particularly aimed at people involved with them from the world of boxing.
Don’t know the names on the list yet, but the shit is really hitting the fan

News came from RTEs Washington correspondent Sean Whelan. Looks like a few other (un-named) jurisdictions are going to jump onboard with the ban too.

Bit strange Tyson going to France on his holidays instead of Vegas.
