Against a guy with one professional fight? Wallin ran Fury close and beat Gassiev, which made him a legitimate contender.. Apart from Ngannou's power, Otto has a advantage in every boxing department.

We don't have to go back even eight years. Hearn has been saying for the last couple years that it will happen "this year" but he could not get it done by last December.
Let's not forget that the reason many felt Wilder Parker should have been the main event was because some thought he was a better opponent than Wallin. It is what it is. I said before the fights that Joshua should prioritize fighting Fury over Wilder, in the event that Fury defeats Usyk. If Usyk wins, Joshua no longer has to prove that he deserves a third shot before Wilder. It's like we got the four-man tournament we wanted but with Ngannou in the place of Wilder.

Are we seriously back to the boxing novice malarkey even though Ngannou is coming off a fight with Fury where he landed 11 fewer punches over 30 minutes?
The reason I believe AJ's output will be lower than for Wallin (who was bloody awful) is because I suspect he won't be able to KO Ngannou, and he won't want to entertain the idea of ending up tired against this guy, however much Francis huffs and puffs himself.
I'm a big fan of Joshua, always fancied him to beat Fury and Wilder. But he's no duracell bunny.

It's all water under the bridge just like 2022, 2023. I'm looking ahead to what is going to happen next. If Usyk wins will he retire? If he does will the belts be scattered up. These are the kind of things I think about.
