Abe (Abie) Gordon, brother of fellow boxers Sammy Gordon and Solly Gordon, was a Flyweight based out of Portland, Oregon. He was very small for a Flyweight, and would probably be considered a Strawweight by today's standards. He had difficulty finding opponents, and usually fought Bantamweights and Featherweights with marginal success. He had a seven-fight series with Portland rival Weldon (Tuffy) Wing, when both were teenaged Flyweights. He was also an early knockout victim of a young Jimmy McLarnin.

Abe and Sammy Gordon were the first boxers to be managed by Portland-based manager Abe Matin. (The October 7, 1925 Spokane Spokesman-Review reported that he was managed by Frank Tay at the time.)

Gordon was reported to be fighting out of the Philippines in 1919.
