Hiawatha Knight was a member of the Michigan State Athletic Commission and vice president of the WBA, she later joined the IBF, for which she also supervised bouts.
Knight followed Bob Lee to become president of the IBF/USBA in 2000 [1]. She was succeeded by Marian W. Muhammad in 2001 [2].
