Gale Outhouse was the twin brother of fellow boxer Gayus Outhouse. By 1955 Outhouse was fighting as Marvin Anderson under the management of Mickey Slater of Los Angeles. (The Ring, Sept 1955).
1949 won the Chicago Golden Gloves Tournament of Champions at lightweight by decision vs. Jerry Browrigg of Oklahoma City, OK.
1949 won the Intercity Golden Gloves' championship at lightweight vs. Johnny Biancaniello, according to the AP it was a bone-rocking lightweight dual that brought a thunderous ovation from the crowd.
