Jack White
Name: Jack White
Alias: Kid/Young White
Hometown: Chicago, Illinois, USA
Birthplace: Liverpool, Merseyside, United Kingdom
Height: 165cm
Pro Boxer: Record
Brother of 1910s and early '20s lightweight contender Charley White, Jack White was a good fighter early in his career and was considered a legitimate contender for the featherweight crown. (He was also the brother of fellow boxer Billy Wagner.)
He fought several hard contested draws with Johnny Kilbane, but like many other boxers he fought well beyond his prime. Towards the end of his career he was seen as little more than a club fighter by most observers, as he used his brother's name to his upmost advantage, landing fights he had no business being in throughout the country. Probably reached the height of his career when he secured an official 15 rd draw on Oct. 10th, 1910 with then World Featherweight Champion Abe Attell in Winnipeg, Canada.
