Nat Fleischer Memorial Award

The "Nat Fleischer Memorial Award" was first given in 1972 by the Boxing Writers' Association of New York, and is named after the founder of The Ring magazine. It is awarded annually for "Excellence in Boxing Journalism" to the person who has done the most for boxing in covering the sport during the preceding year.
