I would have voted for Broner twice if I could though.

Re: Worst ever ppv
Clev v Bellew II is still the worst PPV of all time by some distance. The headliner on Saturday was a very good standard of boxers and the fight was pretty decent to watch so I don't think this one gets in the top three of worst PPVs. I think it sticks in your throat a bit purely because of the amo...

Re: Can't understand the hate
I can understand the hate - it's the Sky and Eddie hype machine that people hate. As for AJ himself, he's been brilliant for the sport. Likeable, has engaged the general public, knocks people out, taken on some tough fights in a relatively young career, is in exciting fights (9 times out of 10), loo...

Why is Paul Smith so aggressive?
His Twitter is alarming. He's so touchy about the smallest things and always ends up indirectly threatening people. He has no respect for the fans opinions and seems to forget that without fans, the sport is nothing. I get it that people tweet stuff that isn't to everyone's taste but some stuff isn'...

Re: your pet peeves
Fat heavyweights with surprisingly good fitness. Lack of humility for your opponents achievements pre-fight, then gushing about them post-fight. PPV undercards being awful. Chris Eubank Jr. Any Sky Sports line up that doesn't include Matt Macklin who is by far and away their best pundit... why would...

Re: Ingle Is To Blame.
I'm not buying ESJ being truly elite etc etc. Brook was gassed after 6 rounds and was comfortably ahead until then. Spence looked decent and certainly world level but if this fight would have happened pre-GGG I think Brook beats him. For me, Brooks career will go down as one of the worst manager in ...

Re: Chavez Jr. Weighs in at 178
I can't believe Kell Brook weighed 185lbs ever. Isn't he 5ft 8 or something like that? He'd be built like a bodybuilder to weigh that at his height. If that is true, how on earth does he make 147lbs?
Unless he was just really fat.

Re: WHO WINS? Anthony Joshua vs. Luis Ortiz
Ya, Gary Cornish had been an unsolvable puzzle until AJ figured him out. Made me proper LOL. AJ beats Ortiz. Other than being able to punch I don't see anything in Ortiz's arsenal to trouble AJ. People are right to be sceptical of calling AJ the second coming whilst he's had such an easy ride but i...

Re: IF Klitschko Wins...
Klitschko is going to be terrified of Joshua in there. The fight will be over before the first bell. Once he takes a right hand he will panic and do a Price. He's never had the heart but his natural size and being well skilled fundamentally, have made him never had to show heart to win. The times h...

Re: How far can average Joe with concussive right hand go as a pro?
Nowhere. I competed in a corporate boxing even two years ago having never properly boxed before. I'm a good sportsman in general terms and I found it easy to out-box local hard nuts. Then I sparred the guy who organised the whole thing, an ex-pro who fought Amir Khan on his way up but was essentiall...

Re: Feeling of dread - Price is going to get Joshua fight
Sorry but Dillian Whyte is terrible. Eddie manufactured a way to avoid him fighting Sam Sexton as he knows his limitations and he may have been exposed against a domestic level opponent, blowing away a lucrative AJ rematch. There is no way he beats Price. Breazeale is the only one who legitimately m...

Re: Feeling of dread - Price is going to get Joshua fight
Price can win. Which is more than any other AJ opponent. For that reason, I would buy it.
Anyone genuinely believe that Price does t beat every name on AJ's record?
Don't get me wrong, I think AJ beats him early but it's no worse a fight than any other AJ fight so far.

Re: WHO WINS? Terry Flanagan vs. Anthony Crolla
I've always favoured Turbo when their names have been mentioned but Crolla continues to prove everyone wrong and is improving with every fight. It's an intriguing match-up that I hope we can eventually see, providing Hearn & Woz can put their differences aside and make it happen. I don't see an...

Re: Who'd win between Kell Brook and Keith Thurman?
I think it's pretty much universally agreed by Americans and Brits alike, that Brook has talent but nobody is sure how much because he doesn't dare fight anyone. If he doesn't go for a genuinely top opponent next then both Americans and Brits will have had enough of him. Needs to be Spence, Thurman,...

Re: Anthony Joshua not the big name we are led to believe
Boxing's bigger than most on here make out. The highest paid athlete in the world for the last X amount of years is a welterweight boxer. Ricky Hatton took thousands to Vegas. It'll never have the cult following a team sport has because that's human nature, but it's doing fine.

Re: SKY Sports / Matchroom broadcast 1 show in 105 days!
Matchroom have revamped their website with all the boxers currently on their books. Following the retirement of Kevin Mitchell I was having a look at the other fighters and their ages and who is up and coming. I was surprised at how old some of the fighters are getting and what there future prospec...
