Re: Nathan Decastro vs. Tommy Jacobs - 22 June 2019
From what I understand members of the crowd tried throwing sly shots at decastro when he was pushed over the top rope.. chaos obviously ensued and it ended up being called off in the 7th. I was watching the stream and having seen Nathan box several times and knowing what he brings to the table it wa...

Ekow Essuman beats Tyrone Nurse to retain English title
Anyone see anything of last nights english title fight, in Nottingham at Harvey Hadden ? Step up in opponent on paper by making a first defence of the English title against Nurse, so how did Essuman look in winning this ? Not normally one to miss the local fights especially as I know a lot of the la...

Re: Leigh Wood Inks Managerial Pact With Dave Coldwell
Leigh is quality and was definately getting the better of McDonnell in the early stages of their fight but has admitted himself it was too much for him to make the weight and he needed an early stoppage or wouldn't have enough in the tank.. Can sell a good amount of tickets too so it's often made me...

Re: Carl Froch v Tyan Booth
Indeed. I wouldn't be surprised if Carl doesn't know about this though. The amount of talk there is about him and about him and his Mrs. I bet he stopped paying attention some time ago. He knows, I shall try to get his view on camera if poss on Friday as his brother is boxing at Nottingham motorpoi...

MVP
Just a question that's been baffling me for a few weeks and a quick search on here doesn't seem to show anyone asking the question. How come MVP is allowed to box under a bbbofc license alongside competing in bellator? I know previously it was one of the criticisms by both posters on here and bbbofc...

Hopefully his camera is running when Froch slaps him around a bit. Fair game if he's been mouthing off about his Mrs. Nobody would blame Carl for cobra'ing the fukk outta him :bag: Indeed. Re: A glorified sparring session. . . .fixed fight
Theres no way anyone whos not a Wilder fanboy would see anything other than a wide AJ win. Parker barely landed anything, if your going on the back foot you still have to outland your opponent, which Parker did not do. Hilarious ive seen people say on this thread say learn how to score. I scored it ...

Re: Cashfighter
Fafera looked good in the tournament, but from the weigh in onwards I knew conception was gonna be crap, he looked to me like an alcoholic or something, just something didn't seem right with him. both lads I know who entered both lost to the lad mikey beat in the final. He just held constantly which...

Re: Who is Tyson Fury's brother??
Why anyone who's boxed pro would be matched to box Liam Crawley I've no idea.. the lads probably the most useless heavyweight I've seen on any circuit if it be unlicensed or white collar or anything. Whoever matched that needs a serious look at themselves

Re: Cashfighter
Know a lad who's entered and also know Lee froch.. Considering where Lee has come from he's doing good. He knows he's not doing anything major, he's got a former top pro in the family obviously so is under no illusion. But for what he is doing he is doing it well. Not many unlicensed fighters are to...

Re: Active British fighters gone missing
Waleed Din Chad Gaynor Chris Evangelou Wasn't Gaynor seriously injured in a car crash? Yea he was.. if I remember correctly he was considered to be unlikely to ever walk again at one point. I know his brother who's a decent enough lad on unlicensed circuit. Different surname so I'm assuming grew up...

Adolphe vs McIntosh
Following adolphe being rightly disqualified for his after the break up of McIntosh it seems adolphe was a complete and utter idiot and is now going to be involved an investigation by both the bbbofc and the police. We all saw his antics in the ring following the dq such as sticking fingers up at fa...

Re: WBC May Create New Division, Split Heavyweight Class in Two
Ive seen a few unlicensed organisations doing super cruiser with a 15st limit and altering cruiser to 14st. In fact I've seen light heavy as 13 st in organisations doing such divisions too. I'm not saying that's the way to go, but to me it makes more sense than having super heavyweights

Re: TYSON FURY GOING WITH THE BIBA
First off to correct someones comment earlier, Biba are actually linked with the IBF now days and they have ranked several biba boxers such as tasif Khan, Lee McAllister and Nathan decastro just off top of my head. Onto the actual point, while I'm sure biba would love to license Tyson fury I have se...

Re: Being professional
Not many lads that can take a fight against someone 2 stone heavier just cos he called you out.. and then suffer a broken jaw in the first round and still go on to win on points... and that being against someone who themselves is a pro with no losses recorded yet. . there's an interesting story in ...

Just to throw my pennies worth in as someone whos known carwyn a good few years from his unlicensed days. Re: Unofficial commissions l
The most frustrating thing for me in all this, is that in the area i operate, which is mainly Nottingham, theres a lot of lads just turning pro or about to turn pro, many of whom ive worked with in the past, whos careers wont be able to fully progress while this is all ongoing. Those that have gone...

Re: What professionals want or will be boxing in Rio.
I wonder if Audley Harrison would fancy it? That would be some story if he came back & won another Olympic gold. He never really got out of the amateur mould as a professional & he probably could still be effective in a short fight amateur opposition. Upper age limit is 40, so Big Aud can't...

Re: Amir Khan's "Unlicensed" Promotion in Pakistan
If Khan did a promotion under the auspices of the Pakistani board in Bethnal Green, I would think it is wrong. But what goes on in Pakistan, stays in Pakistan! People boxing with Maltese licences should fight in Malta. People in glass houses maybe should refrain from throwing stones dont you think ...
