Weekend Notes: Ken Buchanan is the second fighter from Scotland to be inducted following 1998 inductee Benny Lynch. Ringside lectures were given by Jeff Chandler, Alexis Arguello, Danny "Little Red" Lopez, Ken Norton, Arthur Mercante, Arthur Mercante Jr., Lou Duva, Bert Sugar, and James (Bonecrusher) Smith . Public workout sessions were also conducted by Angel Manfredy, Leo Gamez and Bernard Hopkins. Also attending induction weekend were professional wrestlers Marc Mero and his wife Rena (Sable) Mero.
