In 1961 James Anderson of St. Louis, MO won the Chicgo Golden Gloves Tournament of Champions by at featherweight by decision vs. George Foster of Cincinnati, OH and he won the Intercity Golden Gloves' championship at featherweight stopping Henry Hurley at 2:55 of the 2nd.
