Jesse Valdez (born: December 7, 1947) is a former American amateur boxer. In 1964 a sixteen-year-old Valdez won the National AAU at welterweight. In 1967 while serving in the US Air Force he won the National Golden Gloves' championship at light middleweight vs. Eddie Betson. In 1972 he won the the National Golden Gloves championship at welterweight vs. Tommy May and was a bronze medalist at the Munich Olympic games.
