Boxers who have won the National AAU or United States amateur Welterweight title. The weight class was contested with a limit of 145 pounds between 1897 and 1921. It was then contested at 147 pounds between 1922 and 2002. The limit was then raised to 152 pounds in 2003, after the elimination of the Light Middleweight class.
