Connecticut Boxing Hall of Fame
Located at the Foxwoods Resort and Casino, the Connecticut Boxing Hall of Fame inducted its inaugural class in 2005. The 2023 ceremony will take place at the Uncas Ballroom at Mohegan Sun on Saturday, May 13, 2023.

Class of 2006
Former Hartford Courant sports writer George Smith, a professional boxing judge since 1996, won the William Hutt Award for State Boxing Official of the Year.
Chad Dawson (23-0) of New Haven, was named State Pro Boxer of the Year.
Melissa Roberts, 20, formerly of the Manchester PAL and winner of the 125-pound U.S. title in 2005, was named State Amateur Boxer of the Year. [1]

Rhode Island-based promoter Jimmy Burchfield was honored with the Hall of Fame’s Achievement Award.
George Phillips, a referee, judge and timekeeper, received The William Hutt State Boxing Official of the Year Award.
Tramaine Williams, who was named outstanding boxer in the 2008 National Silver Gloves, was honored as Amateur Boxer of the Year.
Chad Dawson was presented a special Champion's Award.
Undefeated featherweight Matt Remillard, who went 5-0 in 2008, was honored as Professional Boxer of the Year. [2]

2011's seventh class included 1996 Olympic captain Lawrence Clay-Bey, professional boxing judge and CBHOF president Glenn Feldman, former NABF light heavyweight champion Eric Harding, two-division world champion Vinny Pazienza and chief Connecticut ringside physician Dr. Michael Schwartz. To be inducted posthumously is former US Olympian Kelvin Anderson and boxing coach Billy Taylor. The honorees were inducted on Saturday, October 29th at the Mohegan Sun's Uncas Ballroom [3].
