I don't see why not. A promoter who likes to exhaust all possible means of improving sales could easily register to a message board and have a free interactive and anonymous focus group. I'm sure someone's atleast thought of it.

"Mayweather's team had been informed by representatives of Ricky Hatton that a fight between the two could not be made until at least 2007."

So why doesn't he take Witter. Because he'd probably break a nail and call it off the way things are going. Plus the fact that Hatton/Witter is a fight that is best placed on British soil. Unless they change location back to Britain which will cause a bit of embarassment at this stage then I don't ...

I think he would take him back but under different circumstances (Dad stays at home) and the relationship would no doubt be frosty. It would be a bit like your wife coming back after an affair. You would have her back but you would alway's make sure you wore a condom. You'd take your wife back afte...

I welcome the fight, if Hatton wins he gets the WBA title, that makes him a 2 weight world champion, but with PBF & Cotto moving up to Welter it gives Hatton a chance to fight 1 of these two & the belt will maybe persuade either PBF or Cotto to fight Hatton. PBF doesn't need to be persuaded...

It's HATTON-COLLAZO now

Hatton faces US challenger with reservation John Rawling Friday March 17, 2006 The Guardian Ricky Hatton's next fight will be against the little-known World Boxing Association world welterweight champion Luis Collazo on a Connecticut native American reservation on May 13. The fight is not the high-p...

If Ricky Hatton never betrayed Warren like he did, Fwanky would probably have bought out Baldomir's next watch and Hatton could most likely have been a two weight LINEAR champion... But, NOOOO

Only because he steers clear of any opponent that would be a threat to his title. He should have been stripped of his "THE MAN"-ness already. LOFL

the old 2 point deductions, eh you know, in competitive fights between a home fighter and a visitor from a different country, WHAT IS IT WITH DOCKING 2 POINTS in word title fights? leo Barber docked 2 pts vs Daruisz Mich (Germany), Virgil Hill docked 2 pts vs F Tiozzo I (France), Herol Graham docke...

Max No need for the sarcasm. Hatton thew a deliberate low blow. He had received a few himself. He got a ticking off which mirrored the treatment Kostya got when he threw low blows. Tszyu didn't complain after the fight, why should anyone else? Look, if you read back, I wasn't complaining about anyt...

Incorrect, it's your assertion that the referee should have docked a point for the low blow (whilst ignoring Tszyu's own of course) that I am taking issue with. You continually bang on about how Hatton's single low blow was shameful, as if it were some sort of blot on the sport. Anyone who watches ...

I don't think the lowblows had anything to do with the fight being won or lost by Tszyu. To me, it seemed to be more on the fact that Tszyu had always been a KO guy. However, aging KO guys tend to have a power shortage late in their careers, and he just happened to hit the wall vs Hatton. Add the f...

It's hilarious that I'm being tagged as "anti-Hatton" even when I clearly stated, underlined, re-posted that it was his style and bodyshots that made Tszyu quit. But if he didn't have all those situations go his way, things possibly would have been different. It's the staunch pro-Hatton Br...

but in your posts you go on about scores and point deductions, which are all irrelevant I. How was Tzyu's corner not wanting him to continue luck? Hatton fought a tought tough fight against a top opponent, you just want to cheapen it for both of them. Then again you are so rabidly anti-hatton (and ...
