Notes
- Frampton was managed by IBHOF member and former-world champion Barry McGuigan.
- Not unlike his former manager and mentor McGuigan, Frampton has often said that he wants to bridge the sectarian divide in Northern Ireland through boxing. He grew up in a staunch Unionist area of Belfast, however learned his trade at a Catholic gym and elected to fight under the Irish flag as an amateur instead of for Great Britain.
- A memorable 2016 saw Frampton unify his IBF Super Bantamweight title with the WBA title held by fellow undefeated Brit, Scott Quigg. Frampton then moved up to dethrone WBA Featherweight champion, Leo Santa Cruz of Mexico. Santa Cruz was also undefeated but had held titles at Bantamweight and Super Bantamweight so with this victory The Jackal was awarded a ranking in the Ring Magazine's Pound for Pound top-10.
